Push vs. Pull
Training your body for the riggers of hockey requires to to strengthen your push and pull muscles. In essence, you want to be well balanced in terms of muscle size and strength by doing exercises that focus on both aspects.
Sample Pull exercises:
- DB/Barell rows
- Lat pull downs
- Pull ups
Sample Push exercises:
- DB/Barbell bench press
- Dips
- Military press'
